Better re-read that.
This piece reports on Chinese duties being placed on US exports of chicken. This is NOT about injury to US producers from US imports of Chinese chickens. (Those would be duck anyways. LOL.)
IF the US was dumping (as alleged) it means that US producers were overcharging us, and taking that which they couldn't sell here, and getting whatever they could somewhere overseas.
Based on these duty margins, a US chicken that would sell (wholesale) for $5 in the US was being sold for $2.50 to $3.25 in China.
